What I have built

Open-source security at scale
Director of Software Engineering at WhiteSource (now Mend), 2018–2023. Led the Knowledge Group — the open-source vulnerability intelligence behind the product: backend, frontend, ML and security research. Spoke on winning open-source vulnerabilities without losing your developers (Azure DevOps meetup, 2019) and on log4j response.
GenAI adoption at scale
Took GenAI from first principles to production at a large enterprise. Shipped MCP servers across the SDLC, ran agentic workflows end to end, and trained and mentored teams through the adoption curve in the US and Europe.
R&D teams from 4 to 25
Scaled engineering orgs from early stage to growth: hiring, onboarding, leveling, retention. Built trust across org lines, including through acquisitions. Coached managers to hold a bar and decide without escalating.
Engineering-product alignment
Built the rituals that close the gap between what product wants and what engineering ships. Roadmap processes engineering respects and product trusts.
Architecture for scale
Led systems from monolith to services, sized for the team you'll have in 18 months, not the one you have today.
